The Role

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Safety Health Environmental Manager (SHE Manager) will work closely alongside the Project Manager on a day to day basis and must:
1. Regularly consult with the Planner and Project Manager; and
2. at all times act in accordance with the Project Documents and within the limits of authority prescribed.

The HSE Manager must assist the Project Manager with the successful delivery of the Project and efficient management of the Project's affairs, in particular:
3. Monitoring construction progress.
4. Ensuring the Project is delivered in accordance with the Project’s Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and requirements.
5. Regularly reviewing compliance with the Project’s health, safety and environmental obligations under the Head Contract and any other regulation.

Issuing weekly and monthly report related to HSE matters along with the KPIs.

Monitor and control the inspection and certificates related with equipment and tools on site, keeping updated the logs.

Support the QA/QC Manager in the preparation of the Method of statements required for the Project.

Provide health and safety training to all workers on site.

Manage injury and compliance investigations.

Develop and implement environment, health, and safety compliance plans
Skills & Experience Required:

Professional degree or years of experience in the area of Safety, Environment and Risk Prevention.

Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety.
-
Cert IV in Training and Assessment (advantageous).
