We are currently seeking an Insurance Technician to join our Risk & Insurance Department at the Grupo Gransolar headquarters in Madrid.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Insurance Management: Administration, monitoring, and renewal of our global insurance programs (including Construction/Erection All Risk, Property, Transit, Vehicles, machinery, Third-Party Liability, D&O, Cyber, Life, Health, etc.), as well as project-specific policies, acting as a liaison with brokers and relevant internal departments within the company.
  • Contractual: Analysis and negotiation of EPC / O&M / BOP contracts, supplies and subcontracts, under the supervision of the area manager.
  • Tracking & Administration: Monitoring of premium payments, receipt and management of documentation, policies and endorsements
  • Claims Handling: Process and manage the resolution of claims, collaborating with brokers and external loss adjusters as applicable.

 

Requirements and Experience

 

  • Educational Background: University degree in Law, Business Administration/Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Over 2 years of experience in brokerage, corporate insurance or risk management. Experience in the construction or renewable energy sectors will be highly valued.
  • Languages: English and Spanish, with the ability to converse, understand, and draft complex terms fluently in both languages.
  • IT Tools: Strong command of everyday office tools (MS Office and Google Workspace applications).
